Automatic Course Enrollment
Students are automatically enrolled in certain course sequences; generally general education and language courses. A list of these “batch-enrolled” courses is posted below at the start of eighth week. Depending on the quarter, students may drop certain sequences before selecting and ranking other courses.
Note: First-year students are restricted from dropping humanities and social science courses at the end of autumn quarter and should discuss any section change, drops, or adds with their College adviser prior to the eighth week of autumn quarter.
The list below shows only those courses and sections for which students are automatically registered for the upcoming quarter. If you are automatically enrolled in a course, then you need not select and rank it during eighth week.
"Caution: In order to reenroll in a dropped sequenced course, you must select and rank that course. Reenrollment in any course is not guaranteed." Contact your College adviser for questions about the course enrollment process.
