Collegiate Mentoring Program

The Collegiate Mentoring Program (CMP) pairs minority College students with minority graduate students. Pairings are based on background and mutual interests. The goal is for mentors and mentees to meet at least once each month and to have contact via telephone or e-mail each week. In addition, CMP sponsors trips and events off campus, as well as academically oriented workshops in chemistry, organic chemistry, and writing.

Although CMP currently focuses on the minority student experience, any student in the College who would like a mentor may apply for one. For more information, contact Elise LaRose, Senior Adviser, at 773-702-8615.
