The Application Questionnaire and Transcripts
A graduate school application generally consists of five parts:
- Questionnaire
- Standardized test scores
- Official transcript
- Essay(s)
- Letters of recommendation
Questionnaire
Read the instructions before beginning the application. Type rather than handwrite and answer all questions completely. A typewriter is available in the CAPS library. Remember to include supplemental materials such as test scores and writing samples (if requested) and to sign the application. It is generally not advised to send more materials than are requested.
Transcripts
Order a personal copy well before the application deadline to check for inaccuracies.
