Volunteering
The University Community Service Center (UCSC) works to foster an active culture of community service at the University of Chicago. UCSC serves as a clearinghouse to introduce University students, faculty and staff to meaningful volunteer opportunities on campus and throughout the city.
Volunteering and the Health Professions
Both the University of Chicago Hospitals and La Rabida Children’s Hospital operate volunteer programs for college students. In addition, contact UCSC for information about opportunities in medicine, public health, government, etc. Not all opportunities are listed on the Web site.
